The FCT Police Command has reacted to rumors of an alleged planned abduction at the University of Abuja Campus by unspecified individuals circulating on online platforms.
The FCT Police Command clarified that these reports are nothing but baseless publications propagated by rumor mongers aiming to create unfounded panic and apprehension among FCT residents and University community.
The Command therefore reiterated its commitment to securing and safeguarding the lives and property of residents in the FCT as adequate deployment of personnel and equipments have been implemented to enhance the security situation within the FCT, which included the University of Abuja.
