ELECTION OF DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR (ADMINISTRATION), DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR (ACADEMIC) AND THE DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR (RESEARCH, INNOVATION & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS)
There will be a Special Meeting of Senate and election of candidates to fill the vacant positions in the Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Office on Thursday, 4 November, 2021 at 1.00 p.m. in the Adeoye Lambo Senate Chamber.
In accordance with the provisions of section 4(2) and (3) of decree no. 11 of 1993 (NOW Act of 1993): “(2) where a vacancy occurs in the post of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor shall forward to the Senate a list of two (2) candidates for each post of Deputy Vice-Chancellor that is vacant.
(3) The Senate shall select for each vacant post one candidate from each list forwarded to it under sub-section (2) of this section and forward his name to the Council for confirmation.”

Kindly note that the election by electronic voting will commence at 8:30 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. Senate Meeting will commence immediately after the election in the Adeoye Lambo Senate Chamber.
