Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has called on all the All Progressive Congress, APC stakeholders in the state to work for peace, progress, stability and unity of the party.
Governor Sani-Bello stated this in Government House Minna when he received members of APC ward and local government congress.
The Governor emphasized the need for fairness, justice, equity, transparency and accountability in building enduring foundation for the party.
“We are building a structure that will outlive us. And the only way to do that is to build foundation of fairness, justice, equity and transparency.”
The Governor stressed that APC was still the party to beat and urged all stakeholders at ward, local government and state levels to remain steadfast in promoting the ideals that would ensure consolidation of the gains of the party.
Earlier in his remarks, The Chairman, All Progressive Congress Ward and Local Government Congress Committee, Chief Ray Murphy urged all stakeholders to cooperate with the committee adding that their mission was not to create division but consensus building. “We are not in Niger state to create division rather to ensure consensus building.”
Murphy advised stakeholders to see the congress as an opportunity to further strengthen the party.
