Council Of Islamic Preachers felicitates with Muslims, canvases support for Southern Presidency come 2023

The Supreme Council Of Islamic Preachers In Nigeria(SCIPIN)in a Sallah message signed by Sheikh Muhammad Noura Bn – Ahmad,Head,Media & Publicity and made available to journalists ,has congratulated Muslim faithful on the completion of Ramadan and Celebration of Eid-fitri.

 

The Sallah message read in part;

 

“Todays the Conclusion of Ramadan fasting 1443 of which Muslims Faithfuls the world over Experience Rejuvenated Spiritual Rebirth by keeping away from Eating & Drinking whence virtues of Endurance, Patience, Worshipping with lots of Supplication individually and Collectively for our country Nigeria

“While Praying Allah SWT reward our fasting & night devotions in full measures, we hasten to reiterate that working environment across the globe is changing at a rapid rate due to changes in Societal norms, Information Flow, Policies, Governance Systems, New Technologies, with Growing Partnership Options affecting human endeavours relating to the Socio-Economic Development of a nation of which Nigeria is not in isolation of this social phenomenon.

“As shepherds of our respective adherents, now that the 2023 is around the corner, we consider it imperative to explore partnership option that aligns with emergence of a Southern Presidency come 2023 and therefore urges our followers across Nigeria to support a Southern Candidate in the interest of Fairness Equity & Justice.

“We are concerned by the way leaders are being thrown up in this country nowadays and believe to ensure lasting solutions, spiritual leaders must play a significant role in the interest of greater peace of Nigeria and the People.

“In concluding this statement on a note of prayer to Almighty Allah to speedily bring an end to incidents of banditry, kidnapping & the general insecurities across the country, we hasten to urge Muslims faithful to imbibe lessons of the Ramadan bibarakatullah.

“Once again, Congratulations on the eid el fitri & Barka da Sallah”
