The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has conducted a security assessment visit to Kuchi-Bena Village and Winning Court Estate in Lifecamp, Abuja, as part of efforts to strengthen safety and prevent crime in the area.
During the visit, the CP carried out an on-the-spot evaluation of the community’s security architecture, inspecting a newly established police outpost provided by residents of the estate. He subsequently directed the deployment of additional personnel to ensure the facility is effectively manned and capable of enhancing operational efficiency.
Sanusi also moved to address tensions between indigenes of Kuchi-Bena Village and residents of Winning Court Estate by scheduling a meeting with community leaders and stakeholders. The engagement, according to him, is aimed at fostering peaceful coexistence and strengthening relations between both groups.
As part of broader security measures, the police chief ordered intelligence-led raids and intensified anti-crime patrols across the area to forestall criminal activities and maintain a visible security presence.
Residents of the FCT were urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious movements or activities to the nearest police station or through the command’s emergency lines.
