The Omachi Atta Igala’, Chief Kashim Akor has advised youths and age groups in Ankpa local government to develop the flare of healthy associations and interactions among themselves, so as to discourage criminal elements arising from the bad companies.
Chief Akor dropped this hint during a special honor bestowed on him by Igala youth forum of Nigeria, Ankpa federal constituency during it’s second inauguration, and award session at the township stadium on Sunday.
The Igala kingdom title holder maintained that as far Ankpa town and it’s environs is concerned, it’s progress, development and emancipation of the youths into profitable ventures remained dear to his heart.
He said no stone will be left unturned for productive youths to be engaged in both formal and informal sector, so as to give a meaningful living to the youths in our society.
He promised to continue to impact positively on the lives of the youths to discourage criminal tendencies and encourage legal and legitimate earnings.
The Omachi Atta Igala appreciated the award confered on him, stating that this will spur him to do more.
Earlier, the forum coordinator, Ankpa federal constituency, Comrade Mustapha Abbah said the group was spurred by the numerous achievements and social interventions been carried out by the awardee both within Ankpa town and it’s environs as well as outside Kogi state.
“You were honored at home and outside the shores with a honorary chieftaincy title twice in a row, as Otunba Gbeluniyi of llaro Yewa land, as that alone had demonstrated the genuineness and passion to lift the indigent ones in the society.”
He urged him to sustain the good works ,stating that his legacies has posed a great challenge to all shades of people from Ankpa community, spurring them to contribute their own quota to their various communities.
