NYSC holds Capacity Building Training on Digital Skills for Deployment Officers,Relocation Officers

The National Youth Service Corps has assured that it would continue to ensure that its officers are well equipped to meet the current expectations in the ever-changing technology-driven world.

 

It also said the Scheme would continue to provide enabling environments for the successful performance of their duties in line with global best practices.

 

The NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed gave this assurance today in his address at the 2023 Capacity Building Training For Deployment and Relocation Officers held in Abuja.

 

He said as the NYSC Integrated System is evolving, there was a need for deployment and relocation officers to equip themselves with relevant digital skills for efficient performances.

 

General Ahmed implored the officers to engage both the Corps Members and other stakeholders in the course of their work without frictions, so as to build better image for themselves and the Scheme.

 

“Management remains committed to creating enabling environment for the successful performance of your duties.

 

“We shall continue to prioritize training programmes of this nature”, he said.

 

The Director, Corps Mobilization Department, Hajiya Walida Isa Siddique in her introductory remark stated that the deployment and relocation officers in line with the NYSC Mobilisation process and posting policy have availed Corps Members with incentives to settle down and carry out their National Service without hitch.

 

Participants at the training included; Heads of Deployment and Relocation branches of all the Thirty-Six State Secretariats of the Scheme and the FCT, Abuja.
