Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has congratulated Comrade Senator Adams Oshiomhole on the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Political Science by Edo University, Iyamho.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, on Saturday, Governor Okpebholo described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Senator Oshiomhole’s immense contributions to the development of Edo State and Nigeria.
The Governor praised Oshiomhole’s unwavering dedication to public service, patriotism, and leadership, which have left a lasting impact on the state.
“This prestigious honor is a confirmation of Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s outstanding contributions to Edo State and Nigeria in general,” Okpebholo said. “His dedication to the welfare of the people and nation-building has earned him this remarkable recognition.”
He also commended Edo University, Iyamho, for recognizing the former Edo State Governor’s legacy, adding that the honor reflects Oshiomhole’s lifelong commitment to the public good.
Governor Okpebholo joined the University community in celebrating the former Governor’s accomplishments and wished him greater success in his future endeavors.
