The Niger State Governor-Elect, Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago has sent a condolence message to the Emir of Lapai, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umaru Bago Tafida III, following the loss of his Third Wife, Hajiya Adama Bago Tafida.
In the message which was delivered by a delegation led by the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Mohammed Bago expressed his sympathy and that of the entire state to the Emir and people of the Lapai Emirate over the loss.
He noted that Hajiya Adama’s love and kindness had transcended the palace walls, reaching the poor and underprivileged, the message said.
The delegation, which was accompanied to the Emir’s palace by the Representative of Lapai Local Government’s Council Boss, Hon. Mu’azu Jantabo also included Hon. Ibrahim Abdulhameed Mullar, Hon. Abu Gomna, Hon. Kabir M Ustaz, and Hon. PK Nas State Assembly Members elect from Bosso, Chanchaga and Paikoro LGA’s respectively.
