The Descendants of Sheikh Al-Imam Yahaya Tajudeen have extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Professor Abubakar Olarewaju Sulaiman following the death of his beloved brother, Alfa Ishaq Toyin Sulaiman Ajimati, who passed away on the evening of Tuesday, June 18, 2025, in Abuja.

The Janazah (Islamic funeral prayer) has been scheduled to take place in Ilorin on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, corresponding to the 14th of Dhul-Hijjah, 1446 AH, In Shaa Allah.

In a condolence message issued by the descendants of Sheikh Al-Imam Yahaya Tajudeen, prayers were offered for the forgiveness and eternal rest of the deceased:

“O Allah, forgive his shortcomings, have mercy on him, grant him safety from the trials of the grave, honor his resting place, and wash him with water, snow, and ice. Cleanse him of sin as a white garment is cleansed of dirt.”

The message described Alfa Toyin Sulaiman as a dedicated brother, a family unifier, and a good ambassador of the Sulaiman family who lived a life of service and piety.

They also prayed for strength for Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) and the entire family to bear the loss with fortitude.

“May Allah grant the family sabr (patience) to go through this trial, and may He reunite us all with Alfa Toyin in Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah make it easy for every one of us to strive hard in pleasing Him before our destined time of death,” the message concluded.
